Ginger Snap Cookies

Snappy, spicy, tender, yet crunchy. Perfectly round and perfectly suited as a sweet holiday treat. Ginger Snaps go back centuries, and it’s no wonder they have remained popular for so long. Thought to have originated by German monks in the middle ages, these lovely morsels are similar to the lebkuchen and gingerbread cookies- but crispier and with a distinctive crackly surface. Although these can be enjoyed all year round, they are especially delightful around the holidays with an ice cold glass of milk or hot cider.
