Despite the name, olive oil is not the predominant flavor in this citrusy, sweet, and moist spiced cake. A traditional treat that originated in the Mediterranean, this delicacy is popularly enjoyed in Italy and the world over. At home, we pair each slice with homemade orange and ricotta whipped cream.

Although we aren’t able to share that secret recipe with our esteemed clients, we invite you to try your own cake with your favorite whipped cream, ice cream, or fruit.

When enjoyed simply, it’s a perfect match to a hot cup of earl gray tea or London fog.
